Ford Motor Company Employee Biography: Tony Leszczynski
Biography was collected in 1945 at the 35th Anniversary Banquet for the Old Timers Club of Ford Motor Company.

Tony Leszczynski was 26 when he began work in the axle assembling department of the Piquette plant in 1907. Today, at 62, he still is working in the same department. He went from the Piquette plant to Highland Park in 1929, to the Rouge as an experimental and test man. He is now an inspector on production finish in the axle building.

Leszczynski was born in Poland in 1881, and came to Detroit immediately upon his arrival in America. He worked for two automobile companies a few months each before beginning his record service with Ford Motor Company.

The Leszczynskis have six children. Leo, Clara and Dorothy are all working in Detroit war industries; Anthony is attending high school; and two sons, Sylvester and Henry, are in the Army.
